ChaiScript is one of the first (and perhaps only) embedded scripting language designed from the ground up to directly target C++.
Being a native C++ application, ChaiScript comes with some advantages over existing embedded scripting languages: · ChaiScript uses a header-only approach, which makes it easy to integrate with existing projects. · ChaiScript maintains type safety between your C++ application and user scripts. · ChaiScript supports a variety of C++ techniques including callbacks, overloaded functions, class methods, and stl containers.

- Headers have been reorganized to fully separate stdlib/parser/engine from each other (some faster builds)
- Bootstrap functions no longer return a reference to the module added to (compile time savings)
- It's now no longer possible modify AST_Nodes (compile time, runtime efficiency)
