First and foremost, CSS Div Builder helps you to quickly and easily style your own custom CSS based DIVs that should be compatible with all modern web browsers.

Secondly, due to its built-in visual based styler and simple to use Metrics utility,  CSS Div Builder can also be used as an effective little tool to learn how to code CSS DIVs and to get a quick grasp of what each of your code modifications do to the overall look of the output DIV.

The CSS Div Builder application can also be used for effectively designing your own CSS gradients using multiple colors and generating the corresponding CSS code with just a click of the mouse.

While using CSS Div Builder, you will be able to effortlessly adjust your DIVs’ padding, color, margin, and even to add and customize various types of shadows.

Once you’re done customizing your DIV’s CSS code, you can quickly send it to the clipboard with the help of the “Copy CSS” button, at the top right side of the window.

Moreover, if you want to first test the DIV before adding to your project, you can also open it in your system default web browser by clicking the “View in Browser” button.

Besides all of the above, the development team should really consider adding a few extra features / capabilities like importing background images, pasting CSS elements into the CSS source box instead of starting from scratch for each style, and direct CSS and HTML editing for when you really need to customize your DIV quicker and more efficiently (adding this last capability to a separate “Advanced” mode could also be a good idea).
