STAR My Data Safe aims to provide a secure environment where you get to store notes, collect ideas, document scans, and virtually any information.

The STAR My Data Safe app generates a new database for each project and automatically encrypts the info user a user-defined password.

Right off the bat, STAR My Data Safe prompts you to create a new project so you can quickly add new records: besides the names, the app allows you to differentiate between entries by assigning different color tags.

Each record comes with a text editor where you can input data and use the formatting tools to change the font style, size, and color. STAR My Data Safe includes a quick search tool and allows you to attach files or hyperlinks.

Note that STAR My Data Safe also integrates advanced search that works with keywords or can perform RegEx queries. What’s more, the search and replace function can implement changes in all records.

STAR My Data Safe integrates exporting capabilities, so you can create TXT or RTF files that include the record headline, together with a list of attachments and hyperlinks. The best part is that the importing function also supports both formats, so you can readily add files to the existing database.

To keep the information safe, STAR My Data Safe comes with a standard encryption function, but keep in mind that via the project’s Preferences panel you can add a new password. The password will be required every time you try to open the project.

STAR My Data Safe relies on an SQL database engine to store multiple records in the same project and employs the AES encryption standard to protect the information.

As a result, the encrypted STAR My Data Safe project files can be easily shared with others or even stored in the cloud without worrying about your privacy: the database will open only if you provide the user defined passkey.
