KeepFocus resides in your status bar and helps you organize tasks for multiple projects while taking into account the Pomodoro technique of separating work sessions into chunks frequently interlaced with short brakes.

The KeepFocus app’s goal is to help you organize your work in such a way that you can both track all the jobs you need to perform and stay as productive as possible.

Within the KeepFocus status bar panel, you can create as many projects as you like and then start adding new tasks to each one. You can specify if a particular job is home, school, or work-related.

KeepFocus will keep the tasks organized in a hierarchical mode and automatically assigns 25 minutes for the completion of each task. However, the estimated time can be adjusted with ease, or you can mark any entry as completed ahead of time.

Splitting your working ours into chunks followed by short brakes can improve your capacity to focus, hence make you more productive. KeepFocus helps you put this concept into practice while organizing the tasks associated with a project.

By default, KeepFocus will allow you to work for 25 minutes then notify you that you need to take a 5 minutes break. Moreover, after 60 minutes you are supposed to get a long 25 minutes pause.

However, via the KeepFocus Preferences window, you get to adjust these values to better match your workflow.

To conclude, KeepFocus provides a streamlined solution for keeping track of all the tasks related to a certain project while also helping you split your work into manageable chunks.

You can time your work sessions to match the Pomodoro breaks, but KeepFocus runs separate timers, so you can pause the task counter any time you like.

Worth mentioning is that KeepFocus will not sync the timer to multiple devices, and you cannot backup or export the data, so it is not advisable to use the utility if you need to keep historical logs.
