EZPunch Client For Mac

EZPunch is a network-based time tracking solution capable to work with multiple computers connected to the same network or even across the Internet thanks to the built-in web server. EZPunch Client as well as the EZPunch Server and EZPunch Manager is one of its components.

EZPunch Client is a straightforward GUI specially made to help users clock in and out and keep track of the accumulated hours. You can install EZPunch Client on numerous remote computers from where the recorded information is transmitted to the server app.

Consequently, you need to have EZPunch Server up an running in order to be able to use EZPunch Client on multiple Macs. However, you don’t always have to be connected to the home network in order to punch in and out.

EZPunch Client comes with a practical offline mode that allows you to record your punches when you are not able to connect to the network. All information is saved locally and is automatically synchronized with the server the first time you have a valid connection.

In ideal conditions, EZPunch Client is constantly connected to the network and all information is directly transmitted to EZPunch Server in order to record the punches.

From EZPunch Client’s main window you can select the correct user, type in a note and punch in or out. You can also view the current date and time along with the accumulated hours. The Server Server Selection window helps you browse all discovered servers or manually input the hostname or IP of the server.

By accessing the Preferences window, you can choose between the 12 hour or 24 hour format, enable the “Round to nearest quarter hour” feature and configure EZPunch Client to display the date. You can change the Miniview Font and size, type in the name of your location and hide or show the accumulated hours.
