AddressBook Aid2 For Mac

AddressBook Aid2 connects with the default macOS Contacts application and offers you the possibility to review the database content, filter the information by different criteria, and even edit the content.

To be able to use the AddressBook Aid2 application you need to add the utility to the list of apps that can access the Contacts database. macOS comes with a built-in app for storing contact details, but navigating the collection might prove cumbersome, especially when dealing with a large database.

Once you grant access to the AddressBook Aid2 app, the utility scans the information and displays the entries in its main window. For each entry you get to see the contact name, email address, phone, info about social media or instant messaging IDs, nickname, birthday, company, address, and so on.

Worth mentioning is that AddressBook Aid2 activates only a couple of these panes by default: you need to navigate the Columns drop down menu and select the ones you want visible.

Within the AddressBook Aid2 main window you get to select the group you want to work with, sort the entries by type (email, phone, address, personal or business information, and other) or labels (home, work, mobile, iPhone, homefax, workfax, pager, and so on).

In fact, each information field detected by the AddressBook Aid2 application can be used as a sorting option. At the same time, AddressBook Aid2 can generate QR codes with the contact details, add new contacts, or even delete entries.

The macOS Contacts application offers you the possibility to store extensive information about different contacts, but once the database size gets quite large finding and editing data can be problematic.

AddressBook Aid2 is a small application which enables you to review multiple entries at the same time, helps you filter the content by different criteria, and allows you to edit or add contact details in no time.
