Voice Analyzer is a lightweight Mac OS X application that provides basic means of analyzing the spectrum and spectrogram of a human voice. Moreover, it also provides a minimalistic formant visualizer.

Actually, Voice Analyzer can be regarded as a lightweight oscilloscope and octave real-time analysis tool, as well. The user interface of Voice Analyzer consists of 3 different windows: the Voice Analyzer, which provides all the configurable parameters, the Spectrum and the Spectrogram. Each window can be moved to any area on your desktop and resized to fit any screen.

From the Voice Analyzer window, you can adjust the spectrogram and spectrum values (using sliders), choose to include formats, adjust the formants normalization and set the frequency (5.5 kHz, 11 kHz or 22 kHz).

In addition to this, you can toggle options to show the spectrogram grid, colorize the spectrogram, display the humming window and to display the frequencies on the spectrogram.
