Specially designed for music producers and engineers, StereoMonoizer is a streamlined and user-friendly application designed from the ground up with one purpose: to determine if your audio files are true stereo or mono-stereo (mono sounds fixed in a normal stereo file).

Working with StereoMonoizer shouldn’t pose any kind of problems since it features a straightforward interface that is represented by a tool panel on the left, a loading panel in the middle, while on the lower right your can find a color-coded waveform display that enables you to play audio files and listen to their content.

Within the left side panel, you can setup the application to process only selected items, show processing logs, turn on or off the stereo-mono conversion, and to select the pan depth, as well as to choose the output mode.

In order to take advantage of all that StereoMonoizer has to offer, you must simply drag and drop your audio files from the Finder onto its interface, select the general settings, choose the processing and the output modes from the tool panel, and then click Analyze.

Once the Analyze button is clicked, the software will analyze and find all audio files that are true mono, true stereo, or stereo with two mono channels. Consequently, StereoMonoizer provides you with the possibility to manipulate files differently by either keeping the stereo file or by splitting it into two mono files.
