Mix Base - Pro Studio is a straightforward application designed with novices in mind. It provides numerous audio loops that can be mixed on up to five channels and enables you to record the resulting tracks.

However, it does not allow you to import audio files of your own, and its functionality is greatly hindered by the fact that playback is disabled if the app is not on top of all other windows.

Mix Base - Pro Studio's interface consists of five panels, each providing a set of controls that can be used to select the desired loop, apply sound effects and adjust the volume. Most of the available functions are bound to hotkeys, although some still require the use of the mouse wheel.

Sadly, it is not possible to add audio files of your own. As a result, Mix Base - Pro Studio has few uses, even for complete novices.

While Mix Base - Pro Studio makes good use of hotkeys to increase the accessibility of its controls, if you hide the app, minimize it or bring another window to the foreground, playback is automatically paused.

Unfortunately, if you are also recording while this is taking place, you will end up with a blank segment in the resulting audio file. This major design flaw makes it impossible to perform any other activity during a recording session.

Mix Base - Pro Studio lacks the necessary features to be considered a useful audio mixing tool, regardless of your level of experience.

The fact that you cannot import your own tracks, combined with the major design flaw that renders the app unusable unless it is in the foreground, means it is unsuitable for any type of audio mixing job.
