Radio Clock (formerly known as RadioClock) is a beautiful and elegant desktop client for the Shoutcast online radio directory that provides immediate access to over 50.000 radio stations of all genres and from all corners of the world.

Besides being a radio client, Radio Clock also displays a nice-looking analog clock as well as the current date. What’s more, the application includes a brightness controller for adjusting the luminosity of your Mac’s screen on the fly.

Radio Clock comes with a beautiful vintage user interface that resembles with that of a classic analog radio. You will also find a Power button and two knobs for turning the radio and the stations on / off. On the lower part of the main window the names of the station and of the currently playing song / artist are displayed.

Another key section of Radio Clock’s user interface is the radio station browser, which is divided into three tabs: Favorites, SHOUTcast and Countries. The first one obviously allows you to access the stations you’ve added to the favorites.

The SHOUTcast tab allows you to browse tens of thousands of stations by genre or country. All kinds of genres are included, such as blues, electronic, jazz, and others. What’s more, the genres are divided themselves into subcategories.

From the Countries tab, users can manually enter names of radio stations they want to find or browse them by different country (e.g. USA, Canada, Japan, China, etc.). Once you click on a country, the radio station will be displayed alphabetically.

Chances are that Radio Clock includes most of your favorite radio stations in its 50.000 station database to which new stations are added daily. Radio Clock is really simple to operate and offers access to high-quality streams of more stations than you’ll ever be able to listen to.
