Control noise cancelling settings for the AirPods Pro and Beats Solo Pro directly from the menu bar or your MacBook Pro's touch bar. #Toggle Noise Cancelling #Toggle Noise Cancellation #Transparency Mode #Noise Cancelling #Noise Cancellation #AirPods
Toggling between the Noice Cancellation and Transparency modes on the Airpods Pro, Max, and Beats Solo Pro is done either via the physical switch or from the volume control menu on your Mac. The latter method is not exactly quick, so this app offers a better alternative.
NoiseBuddy is an open-source app that allows you to toggle between the ANC and Transparency listening modes with a single click, from the menu bar or Touch Bar, or even by using a customizable hotkey. The menu bar and Touch Bar buttons will only appear when a supported device is connected, even if the app is running.
If you prefer to manage this setting from the Touch Bar or via the hotkey, the menu bar button can be disabled entirely. The keyboard shortcut can also be turned off, and if you want to use it, you can choose any key combination you prefer.
Lastly, you can set the application to launch at login automatically, which can save you a bit of hassle. Given that it is only visible while you are using your headphones, it won't get in your way when not needed, and the app's resource usage is negligible.
