Klee is an easy to use, MIDI-enabled software recreation of the electro-music.com hardware Klee step sequencer.
Klee is developed with the input of the sequencer's creators!
Limitations in the unregistered version
- presets not functional
- constrain to scale feature not functional
- chord output feature not functional
- only one VST instrument slot enabled
- timeout after 20 minutes of use
What's new in Klee 2.2:
- VST instrument hosting – can now route MIDI externally, or internally to VST virtual instruments (or a mix of both)
- constrain output notes to a specific scale, using Modal Object Library
- output a chord based on the currently active root note - user can specify up to 6 pitches in chord, plus the root note
- external pattern load via MIDI or audio input triggers
