Quickly export your iTunes playlists to a local or external storage drive by using a macOS application that is featuring a familiar design. #Export iTunes playlist #ITunes to folder #Export iTunes track #Export #ITunes #Track
Export for iTunes is a very easy to use macOS application that automatically detects the playlists and albums present in your iTunes library, and offers you the possibility to quickly export the tracks to a separate folder.
This is extremely useful if you want to move your music to another device without having to deal with the iTunes synchronization tools, especially since not all types of devices are supported.
The Export for iTunes user interface resembles the classic iTunes look, so finding your way around is quite easy. The app displays a list with all detected playlist and albums, and allows you to see all the tracks included in each case.
To export a certain group, simply make sure that the associated check box is ticked: you cannot export single tracks, only the whole playlist or album. To help you get around extremely large music libraries, Export for iTunes also includes a basic search tool.
Export for iTunes integrates various customization options when it comes to the exporting process in order to make sure you get exactly what you need: you can extract only the audio files, or decide to include the m3u playlists, you can modify the name format for the output files, and choose to include the album art.
What’s more, Export for iTunes can automatically convert the files to the MP3 or AAC format in order to make them compatible with non-Apple devices. In this case, you will also be able to adjust the track’s bit rate, or the MP3 quality.
Export for iTunes is a great tool to have around if you want to transfer your iTunes music to a device that is not supported by the iTunes synchronization function. The app allows you to quickly extract the audio files to a separate folder, and can even convert the tracks to more popular file formats.
