Electronic Piano For Mac

Electronic Piano is yet another OS X application designed to help you play piano using your Mac’s keyboard, or a MIDI keyboard connected to your computer. What’s more, the app can also record your playing and export the audio using the WAV file format.

The Electronic Piano user interface is represented by a single window where you get to see the piano keyboard, the recording and playback controller, and the knobs that offer you the possibility to alter the sound effects to your liking.

Electronic Piano includes elementary functions, such as adjusting the volume, frequency, or pitch, but also enables you to modify the amount, cutoff, or resonance of FX effects.

Each of these controllers come with simple knob buttons that you can turn to different positions. Just experiment and change their setting until you get the sound you are looking for.

The Electronic Piano audio player includes both recording and playback capabilities. Once you press the Record button, Electronic Piano starts capturing the audio produced by the piano keyboard.

Note that the player also comes with a small Info button that toggles the visibility of the keys that have been assigned to each piano tile.

On the player side, Electronic Piano allows you to start or stop the playback, or to jump back or forward within the recording. The player display permits you to see the name of the current recording (if it has been saved to the disk), the volume level, the current time position and the duration of the entire recording.

To conclude, Electronic Piano comes with quite elementary piano playing, recording, and playback functionalities. The app also integrates some sound effects that can be easily adjusted by the user to refine the audio quality.
