Beat Monitor For Mac

Beat Monitor is a self-explanatory real-time BPM analyzer that enables professional DJs and composers to determine the BPM value of their songs or mixes.

BPM, short for beats per minute, enables users to measure the tempo of a song and determine the number of times a particular note is being played per minute.

Beat Monitor features a simple, colorful and very easy to use interface from which you can easily start pause or stop the real-time analysis of the audio stream. Thus, you can measure the BPM of all the songs transmitted to your Mac via the Line in channel.

The top toolbar features a VU meter and a Buffer Usage monitor while the side bar helps access the Settings menu. A VU, volume unit meter or standard volume indicator is a device capable to display a representation of the signal level in various audio equipments.

Thanks to Beat Monitor you can view the BPM range, analyze the delay, certainty and data level. By accessing the Settings menu you can adjust the algorithm quality and increase the accuracy at the expense of speed and memory usage. You can also change the background lightness and use the procedural background or a custom image instead.
