AMTRA For Mac

AMTRA is an Ambiophonics audio player and transcoder designed to help you improve the quality of your music listening. The app applies the RACE algorithm to your tracks in order to bring a 3D sound stage effect to your setup.

The AMTRA application is able to load WAV, MP3, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC and DSD audio files and employs the built-in Ambiophonics player to render the content. The player features basic controls, such as play/pause and jump to the next or previous track.

Within the AMTRA main window, you get to see the list of loaded tracks together with details regarding the sample rate and bit depth. The same area displays the current status of each recording and a progress bar for the playback or the transcoding procedure.

AMTRA transcodes your audio files by applying the RACE algorithm so you will be able to render the 3D sound stage effect associated with Ambiophonics while playing the tracks in any audio player.

The default AMTRA settings for the RACE algorithm are designed for a standard loudspeaker setup, but you can make your own adjustments with the help of simple slider bars.

AMTRA allows you to setup the output folder, the file naming patterns, the output file format (FLAC, AIFF, or WAV), and the compression level (if supported). You can also opt for using a frequency limited RACE algorithm for the transcoding.

AMTRA comes with a built-in Ambiophonics player and aims to improve your listening experience by creating a 3D effect. The app works with some of the most popular audio file formats.

Moreover, AMTRA also allows you to use the RACE algorithm to transcode the tracks and get the same experience regardless of the player app you are using. The utility also allows you to configure the RACE algorithm to match your loudspeaker setup or personal taste.
