Twitter just launched Periscope 1.2.2 for iOS, a new edition of their iOS client designed to add support for broadcasting from iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus devices.

Seeing that it was one of the very few apps in the iOS App Store that hadn't yet added support for Apple's new iPhones, Twitter fixed the problem with a new release of Periscope.

The Periscope app allows you to broadcast video on the Twitter social network, with the possibility to notify your followers when starting streaming.

Once they join, they can comment in real-time and share your stream on Twitter for their followers to join in and see what you're broadcasting live using your iOS device.

To start a broadcast, you have to launch the Periscope app on your iOS device, hit the Broadcast button at the bottom of the screen, enable the camera, audio and location on your stream and then tap on the "Start Broadcast" button once you've added a description for your stream.

If you own an iPhone 6s or 6s Plus, you can now also start your own streams using Periscope after you install the Periscope iOS client from Apple's App Store or update the version you already have installed to the 1.2.2 release that comes with support for your device.
