Last week’s The Price Is Right drew quite some attention from YouTubers when the show’s people uploaded a brief 1-minute clip of two clueless contestants who estimated that the price of an iPhone 6 was $7,500 (€6,250).

The first contestant, a black woman seemingly in her late 30s, responded with the aforementioned quote without hesitation. The second contestant, a white dude experiencing a bit of an attention deficit at the host’s first attempt to convey him the question, used the +1 strategy, essentially estimating that the phone could sell for anywhere between $7,500 and infinity.

The third contestant was a tad more down to earth, saying the iPhone 6 costs $850 (€708), while the fourth – whose guess was ultimately pronounced the winning quote – said $930 (€774). According to the host of the show, the actual retail price of the handset, complete with a special plan that they carefully advertised, was $1,969 (€1680).

The video in question had racked up more than 750K views at the time of this post, and while we were hoping to get an equal dose of fun by reading the comments, we’re sad to report that these are filled with racism and trolling. We hope you can be less subjective and just get a good innocent laugh out of this. No one said the contestants were rocket scientists.
