Photobucket.com is out with a new version of its photography app, Snapbucket 2.2. In this update the company adds Retina-display support for 4-inch devices, along with some other enhancements.

Snapbucket 2.2 is natively supported on 4-inch screens, including those found on the iPhone 5 and the fifth-generation iPod touch. iPads are not yet supported natively, but you can still run the app on any Apple tablet.

The updated version also launches faster, and sports unlocked sets, filters, effects, vignettes, and frames in the free version of the app. The developers also fixed a lot of bugs, including one affecting image orientation under iOS 6.

Speaking of iOS 6, you won’t be able to run Snapbucket on versions lower than that. The app is nonetheless compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPads.
