When iOS 7 debuts this fall, Apple will also be launching an additional service announced at WWDC earlier this week, and that’s iTunes Radio (the former iRadio we’ve been babbling about for years).

No longer a rumored / fantasy product, iTunes Radio is real and iOS 7 beta testers are using it as you are reading these lines.

The service features streaming radio stations “you’ll love from day one,” says Apple. The more you listen to your music, the more personalized the service becomes.

It uses the Genius feature and your iTunes Match subscription to serve you the best selection of music available tailored specifically to your taste. If you don’t have an iTunes Match subscription, the service is available free of charge but is backed up by iAds.

You can build new stations as you listen and control the balance between playing favorites and discovering new song. A History tab will show you everything you’ve heard or added to your Wish List.

iTunes Radio works on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, PC, and even the Apple TV for free.

The service is going to be available only in the U.S. at launch, and you’ll be able to use it in a few months.
