14 DAY TRIAL // AOL has released an updated version of MapQuest, the company’s one-stop-shop for GPS and voice navigation powered by traffic updates and live maps.
One of the most popular navigation tools on the iPhone, MapQuest offers multi-stop directions, bookmarking options, sharing features, and automatic traffic re-routing, just to name some of the key features.
A new version released by AOL in the App Store brings even more convenience in the form of Background Maneuver Notifications.
According to the changelog, “If you lock your phone or get interrupted while navigating, you'll still receive notifications for upcoming maneuvers.”
A lot of bug fixes are included in version 4.0.6. Some reported crashes shouldn’t occur anymore, and the app should feel more solid overall.
Download MapQuest for iOS 7.0 on any iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad that can take the firmware. The app displays natively only on small-screen devices.
