Jonathan Ive’s redesigned iOS 7 may or may not be to everyone’s liking, but it sports at least one nice touch that Steve Jobs fans will surely appreciate.

Embedded in Safari is a cool feature called Reading List, which rivals the likes of Instapaper by saving articles for offline reading. It’s been there for a while now, and it has transitioned to iOS 7 with the same aesthetic oomph that characterizes the entire OS.

Replacing the old classic glasses icon, the new Reading List icon features Lennon-style round-shaped glasses, much like those worn by the late Steve Jobs.

Knowing how close Jobs and Ive were back in the day, we cannot reach any conclusion other than the fact that Ive wanted to pay tribute to his late boss and friend.
