If you like Notification Center in your current iOS installment, you’ll simply fall in love with the facelifted version from iOS 7.

Or, at least, that’s what Apple says, and we’ll also have to see the finalized product in fall, but until then, let’s take a look at the new stuff they’ve added.

iOS 7 first and foremost drops the linen background in favor of a translucent overlay which gives you a better sense of where you are. Since you can invoke Notification Center anywhere, you’ll continue to see a blurred-out version of your current location in the background as you swipe through the stuff you’ve missed.

“You’ll even get a heads-up on tomorrow,” Apple promises.

It has three tabs now, where the Today view gives you a summary of what you need to know about for the day, while the All and Missed views let you see all your alerts or just those you haven’t had the chance to see for the past 24 hours.
