14 DAY TRIAL // Remember those times when you had to perform a lot of gimmicks to get that pesky Newsstand icon in a folder on your iOS home screen?
Actually, those times are still here unfortunately, but come fall 2013 all that will change with the arrival of iOS 7.
That’s right, the new iOS finally lets you put Newsstand in a folder and you can hide it from plain sight so it never bothers you again, in case you’re not much of a magazine reader.
I must have launched Newsstand by accident a thousand times as I was browsing through my apps. This change is very welcome if you ask this editor.
The only problem is, after upgrading, you’ll probably have a hard time locating the Newsstand icon. The thing itself looks like a folder in the new iOS 7.
