14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft has released an iOS version of its Xbox One Smartglass app, allowing users to control their brand new gaming system and stay up to date with the latest gaming stuff.
Calling it “the perfect companion app for your Xbox One, both in your living room and on the go,” Microsoft reveals that iOS customers can navigate their console using the iOS virtual keyboard and touch gestures.
Users can control video and audio playback with the SmartGlass remote control, browse the web and pin content they want to play on their Xbox One, as well as track achievements, message friends, watch game clips, and even get help when stuck on a level.
iDevice owners with iOS 6 or newer installed can immediately download Xbox One SmartGlass for free. The app is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and all iPad models starting with the second-generation model.
