WordPress for iOS 3.7 is now available with a revamped Reader, improvements for account management, bug fixes, and “groundwork for some neat things to come.”

According to the team at WordPress.org, Reader now offers a native experience on both iPhone and iPad, and makes for “a faster and more beautiful reading experience.”

The new account system ensures that your WordPress.com account remains safe, “including when you change your password or use two-step authentication.” The translations have been updated to include Thai, and there’s a bunch of bug fixes to be had as well.

Also, a small code tweak now causes View Admin to open in Safari (instead of inside the app).

The next major WordPress update for iPhone and iPad will focus on adding consistency with iOS 7.

“We’re already working on improvements to the new native Reader. We’ve also planned improvements to media and a new themes management feature,” the team adds.
