The people at Azureus Software have released Vuze 5.2.0.1 Beta 23, a new test version of the company’s BitTorrent client for Mac, Windows, and Linux computers.

Approaching its stable release, Vuze 5.2.0.1 now defers sub-tab datasource changes until they are visible, in order to save CPU workload.

Logging has been added for files that take a long time to access, for example those sitting on a shared drive that is unavailable, according to the developers.

Last, but certainly not least, the update adds an indicator to multi-level tag menus which allows users to see whether or not a selection exists in a sub-level.
