14 DAY TRIAL // Hamrick Software has released the latest version of its powerful scanning utility, VueScan 9.4.24, for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. The update is dotted with newly supported devices.
The 9.4.24 update was apparently necessary to turn on “Output | PDF multi page” by default, but also to add support for eight new Brother scanners, including ADS-1000W, ADS-1050W, ADS-1100W, ADS-1150W, ADS-1500W, ADS-1550W, ADS-1600W, and ADS-1650W.
A3 platen is also supported on Brother MFC-8680DN devices, and various problems have been addressed with the Deskjet 4620 series, with color “Output | TIFF file” in DNG format, and with buttons on some HP scanners.
VueScan is not free, but this particular update is free for all existing users. As usual, the download links for all supported platforms await below.
