Hamrick Software is kicking off this snowy week (at least here in Europe) with a new update for its powerful scanning utility for Mac, Windows, and Linux computers.

Usually, Hamrick rolls out updates to include new drivers (support) for new printers and scanners, but this time around the developer focuses on squashing bugs.

Apparently, people have been having problems with certain scanners, while multi-page PDF files have been giving some users headaches. The highlights from VueScan 9.4.22 follow below.

• Fixed problem with multi-page PDF files • Fixed problem with Plustek OpticFilm 7200i • Fixed problem with some A3-size scanners

For those who haven’t updated VueScan in a while, the previous update (9.4.21) added support for almost a dozen new networked Canon laser devices, including printers, scanners, copiers, and all-in-one devices.
