Amazing iPad magician blows away Ellen Show audience, and Ellen DeGeneres herself in four-and-a-half minutes

Remember when Steve Jobs unveiled the iPad and called it magical? Most of us took that for what it was: a marketing pitch. But apparently one German dude by the name of Simon Pierro took it literally.

Pierro is a magician. But he’s not the old-fashioned type, oh no. Instead of pulling out rabbits out of hats or coins from behind people’s ears, he relies on technology for his acts. Invited on The Ellen Show to do his magic act, Pierro amazed the audience with his ability to turn the items appearing on screen into real physical objects.

He even pulled out a printed selfie he’d taken just seconds earlier in the audience, leaving DeGeneres scrambling for answers.

While every number in the act certainly has an explanation, the guy is so good you really start to wonder “how on Earth is that possible?” Pierro seems to be using an iPad Air for his act, probably the lighter and thinner second-generation model.

The iPad Magician has his own website where you can watch some more of his tricks, as well as get a bit of background reading on the guy. He’s also a TV presenter and he even has his own Wikipedia page. Yeah, he’s that awesome!
