Three new iPod touch players and two new iPhones have appeared in Apple’s inventory system with code names that would indicate only minor hardware alterations, according to a report.

Labeled N81A, three new iPod touches have been spotted by people close to Apple’s business. Since N81 is the code name for the fourth-generation black iPod touch, it is being speculated that the A stands for the rumored White iPod touch. It is believed that storage capacities will remain intact - 8GB, 32GB, and 64GB.

More importantly, though, 9to5mac reports on the discovery of two new iPhone SKUs in Apple’s inventory. Yet they’re not iPhone 5 units. They’re slightly upgraded versions of the current-generation iPhone 4 or, the heavily rumored iPhone 4S.

Designated N90A, the phone is expected to arrive with 8GB of storage, in what would confirm some analysts’ expectations of an iPhone 4S announcement from Apple.
