The Iconfactory has released Twitterrific 5.6.1, the latest version of its feature-packed Twitter client for iOS devices. Numerous improvements and fixes are included, as well as a few new features.

New in version 5.6.1 is the ability to stream searches and conversation views over Wi-Fi, and users can now tap and hold to customize the navigation tabs (including mentions, messages, and favorites). Also new, there’s a tweet counter that shows up in all your timelines now.

Many improvements and fixes are mentioned, such as the redesigned tweet counter, better app performance, improved app launch time, VO no longer interrupts reading tweets, the streaming label no longer overlaps the timeline, etc. Even some crashes have been addressed.

Download Twitterrific 5.6.1 on any iOS 7.0 device and enjoy all this cool stuff now. Unfortunately for some, English remains the only supported language.
