As part of a bigger update Twitter Inc. today released a tweaked iOS client app with bug fixes. Users who like to share photos on a regular basis will also be delighted by a recent change.

Twitter 5.11.1 was released today for iOS platforms with nothing more than “bug fixes.”

Users have been complaining about loading / refresh issues for a while, so hopefully this update addresses these flaws, and many others.

In addition to fixing the iOS app, Twitter today also announced that photos embedded in tweets will now appear above the text (as opposed to below). This way the image gets the chance to speak for itself, while the (optional) text will act as a caption of sorts.

Grab Twitter for your iOS device at the link below and enjoy the new changes. Although it’s been redesigned for iOS 7, the official Twitter app still plays well with iOS 6 and even iOS 5.
