Twitter Inc. has rolled out a new version of its iOS client fixing a few bugs. Users experiencing crashes with the app are encouraged to download the latest version as soon as possible.

iOS customers using the official Twitter app on their iPhones and iPads have been experiencing some issues where the client did not receive all push notifications.

Another issue caused the inability to access hashtags, topics, and user autocomplete suggestions while searching or composing a tweet. Both these problems have been addressed.

Twitter 5.4.1 also “contains fixes for crashes and other bugs,” according to the company behind the popular microblogging service.

The Twitter iOS client is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
