Twitter has rolled out a new version of its dedicated iOS client fixing a bunch of issues reported by owners of iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices that like to blog on the go.

The Twitter iOS app is a full-fledged tool to browse your interests, find & follow friends, tweet, retweet, favorite, follow, exchange direct messages, share photos, videos and web pages, and search in real-time.

According to the terse change log accompanying the new release, Twitter 4.1.3 “fixes an issue where some users were not receiving updates for Mentions and Interactions in the Connect tab.” Twitter 4.1.3 is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later. The app is universal, meaning you download once for both iPhone and iPad.
