Roxio’s popular media application Toast Titanium has been updated to version 11.1 Build 1065, which allows disc Images to be created on all systems with no optical drive.

After releasing the major 11.1 update earlier this week, Roxio has now released build 1065 which resolves an issue where some users could not complete Setup Assistant, as well as a file extension issue that users encountered when saving projects.

The update also brings a new feature. Users can now create disc images on systems that don’t feature an optical disc drive, such as the MacBook Air, or the new MacBook Pro with Retina display.

Toast Titanium requires a Macintosh computer with an Intel processor, 1 GB RAM (2 GB RAM recommended for Pro), OS X 10.5 (Leopard) or later, and roughly 1 GB (5 GB for Pro) of free space for installation. Toast Titanium 11.1 adds compatibility with OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, complete with Gatekeeper support.
