A Delaware Apple Store set up in the Christiana Mall, between Newark and Wilmington, sells more iPhones than any other Apple store.

“The only store that does more volume is the glass box on Manhattan's Fifth Avenue and that is open 24 hours a day. But no one sells more phones than we do,” one employee said.

According to ABC News, the store attracts customers all the way from New Jersey and New York because of Delaware's lack of a sales tax. “We sell more iPhones than anyone,” a clerk added.

An Apple spokesperson refused to confirm the news, and pointed interviewers to the company’s financial reports. These papers, however, don’t disclose performance numbers for each store in part.

The high number of customers is also attributed to the fact that this is Apple's only store in Delaware. The store is guarded by Delaware state troopers because of the high traffic, which spells a high rate of incidents.
