14 DAY TRIAL // TransGaming has announced the release of The Darkness II in Apple’s Mac App Store, where Mac gamers can immediately download and play one of the most original shooters ever developed for $29.99 / 23.99 EUR.
An intense first-person shooter, The Darkness II delivers “a twisted and gripping narrative of tragedy, modern crime drama, and supernatural horror,” according to its creators. The game is best known for its quad-wielding combat and four-person cooperative gameplay (separate from the first-person campaign).
The minimum system requirements include Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8 or higher, Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 12 GB storage, and 256MB video memory.
TransGaming says the 30-dollar price is a sale, which doesn’t necessarily make it a steal, since The Darkness II isn’t exactly current-generation gaming material.
