14 DAY TRIAL // Tetris Blitz is now free to download if you live in an area where the Apple Store application works on your iPhone. Apple has teamed up with EA to offer the game for free.
iPhone and iPad users must simply log in with their Apple ID via the Apple Store app on their iDevices and redeem the currently-free app. At the moment, that app is Tetris Blitz, from Electronic Arts. If you don’t have the Apple Store app installed, that one is also free.
Updated in January to version 1.4.2, Tetris Blitz offers an all-new Tournaments Mode where you compete against other Blitzers and earn coin payouts. Other new / updated features include player profiles and avatars, an enhanced news section, and some festive holiday content from last year.
Although you only need iOS 5 to play Tetris Blitz, the Apple Store app requires iOS 6.0, so that’s your minimum system spec to take advantage of this offer.
