14 DAY TRIAL // Fans of the hugely popular endless running game Temple Run: Oz should check with their App Store update queue, as Disney has pushed out an update featuring an awesome new location, a cool “Head Start” feature, and more.
Temple Run: Oz version 1.2 delivers a brand new location called Winkie Country, where you will enjoy running in a “wondrous environment through infinite farms, majestic canyons, and maze-like cornfields.”
You’ll also need to watch out for new obstacles, like the Winkie guards, but you also get an awesome “Head Start” feature, which lets you fast travel to any location, much like teleportation.
A Leaderboard feature has been added: “beat your friends’ distances and run right past their names just like the original Temple Run.”
As usual, more weekly challenges and more in-game objectives are to be had, and the update also includes gameplay fixes and performance enhancements.
