TeamSpeak Systems Inc. has released the latest version of the company’s group-chatting software for iPhone and iPad, TeamSpeak 3.

Allowing groups of people to speak with one another over any platform or operating system, TeamSpeak software is a popular voice chat solution for online gamers, friends and family, small businesses, etc.

According to the developers, “Most TeamSpeak users typically connect to their guild or clan's TeamSpeak server to chat with fellow team mates, discuss strategy in real-time, or facilitate online events.”

TeamSpeak 3.1.7 is out today with new features and improvements. There are many new contact settings to be found in the updated app, and “audio should now work correctly through the built-in microphone after a bluetooth headset is disconnected,” according to the release notes.

Different sound packs are now supported, “in particular the default text-to-speech on iOS 7,” says the developer. The usual bag of fixes is included, and the update is free for all existing users. New customers will pay $4.99 / €4.49 for the app.
