Square Enix today announced that the original Tomb Raider I, ported to iOS platforms in December of 2013, is now on sale with a $0.99 / €0.99 price tag.

The app binary hasn’t been updated or anything like that, but the game’s description has undergone a minor change. In it, Square Enix confirms the flash sale, stating, “Tomb Raider Classic is now on sale! This offer ends next Monday so don’t miss the chance; relive Lara Croft’s epic adventure today!”

So mark March 10 on your calendar if you’re away from the App Store for some reason and make sure to grab this legendary game as soon as you get the chance.

It’s a universal app, meaning you can download the same binary for both iPhone and iPad. Best of all, Tomb Raider iOS has support for third-party controllers, such as the MOGA Ace Power and the Logitech PowerShell. In fact, you pretty much need one to play the game properly.

Using a jailbreak tweak called Controllers for All, you can even play it as it was originally meant to be played – with a PlayStation controller. Download Tomb Raider I for iPhone and iPad on any iOS 6 configuration and enjoy!
