SkyORB, a collection of tools including a 3D star map, 3D planetarium, ephemeris, search engine, weather, and sun clock, is now fully supported on OS X Mavericks.

SkyORB 3D 4.6.2 has been updated to include support for OS X 10.9 and to address a zoom display issue causing the information panel to disappear. For the ISS’ 15th anniversary, an Easter Egg has been included. Developer realtech VR explains:

“When updating the International Space Station in the Satellite and comets page, you can see the 3D model of the space station in the space view with position computed in realtime.”

The update is filled with other bug fixes and improvements, ensuring a smoother-than-ever star-gazing experience.

SkyORB is free of charge, but users can upgrade to the premium version directly from the app using In App Purchase. Download SkyORB 3D 4.6.2 right now and enjoy!
