14 DAY TRIAL // SoundCloud Ltd. today updated its music app for iOS customers delivering an all-new design, a cleaner look and feel with simpler controls, a one-thumb interface, likes and playlists in one place, and more.
SoundCloud version 3.0.0 is probably the biggest update the music app has ever seen on iOS so far: “Our iPhone app has been completely redesigned, so everything is new,” says the developer.
Its design is cleaner with simpler controls and users now get a one-thumb interface that allows them to play, pause, skip, and explore their playlists on the move. You can now open another user’s profile straight from a track or playlist, while all your likes and playlists are now in one place. This makes it easier to play more of your favorite tracks and artists without swapping through different areas of the app endlessly.
“For now, the iPad version is staying the same. iPad updates are being worked on for a future release,” says SoundCloud Ltd.
