Sony Network Entertainment International has released a new version of the company’s Music Unlimited application for iOS devices.

Music Unlimited 1.4.0 has been redesigned to support iOS 7, but none of the aesthetic changes are reflected in the App Store screenshots at the moment.

The update further includes curated playlists, sharing via email, Facebook, Twitter, SMS, and e-mail, as well as deeplinked songs, albums, artists, and playlists.

Localized in English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish, Music Unlimited 1.4.0 weighs in at 23.3 MB and requires any iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad capable of running iOS 6.0.

iDevice owners can download Music Unlimited free of charge and use it indefinitely without any restrictions. Users can stream music with an Internet connection or download playlists to their device to enjoy anywhere with Offline Mode.

Audio is streamed at a quality of 320 kbps, and the app is linked to the Sony Entertainment Network for access to games, music, and movie offerings on PlayStation consoles and Sony home audio.
