14 DAY TRIAL // Snapchat Inc. is out with a new version of its popular photo-sharing app for building relationships, collecting points, and viewing what your best friends are up to.
Codenamed “Banquo,” Snapchat version 5.0.0 brings swipe navigation, the ability to double tap a message to reply to it, new ways to add friends, in-app profiles, design and speed enhancements, and an option to send snaps to friends from your address book.
For those who are not familiar with the Snapchat terms of service, the company asks interested parties to note that “Even though snaps are deleted from our servers after they are viewed, [the company] cannot prevent the recipient(s) from capturing and saving the message by taking a screenshot or using an image capture device.”
Snapchat is compatible with most iDevices and requires iOS 5.0.
