14 DAY TRIAL // Apple’s slo-mo capture feature in iOS 7 is only available with the powerful iPhone 5s, but one developer thought of filling the void left in our hearts by releasing an app that offers similar functionality on older-generation devices.
SlowCam is a $1.99 / €1.79 app which lets you “record amazing slow motion videos in real time,” according to the people at Lucky Clan.
Users simply tap and hold the slow motion button during recording to capture video at either 60 FPS (on iPhone 5) or 120 FPS (on iPhone 5s). The app is said to be supported on “all devices with iOS 7.”
Features include smooth transition from normal speed to Slow Motion, zooming in and out (iPhone 5+), the ability to set Focus/Exposure together or separately, background rendering, Camera Roll integration, and more.
