14 DAY TRIAL // Electronic Arts has released a memo on its forums confirming the official launch date of SimCity for Mac OS X. SimCity is a city building game where you can be mayor.
“Good news, Mac Mayors – today we can officially confirm the release date for the Mac version of SimCity is June 11, 2013,” according to the community lead on EA’s forums.
Gamers who already own SimCity on PC will receive the Mac version for free, according to the memo. There are probably 10 people in the world who will switch to OS X just to play the game but, for what it’s worth, you won’t be charged a dime if you’re one of them. The same goes for the other way around.
Those who are buying the game for the first time will be able to buy a copy on Origin starting April 10th (today).
