Shazam 6.0 now supports the iPad, in addition to iPhone and iPod touch. You can now use interactive maps and zoom from your current location to cities, countries, and continents to discover popular songs.
Auto Tagging allows the app to automatically tag music and other types of media around you, and it can do it even as it runs in the background. A new home screen is included, allowing you to browse real time updates of what’s being tagged on TV right now. The feature is US-only.
Also new, there’s a place where you can now browse through your recent matches and favorite them for later viewing.
