14 DAY TRIAL // It was only a matter of time before the piggies had their say in the neverending Angry Birds saga. This month, they will star in the all-new spinoff from Rovio, Bad Piggies.
Rovio Entertainment released a teaser about a week ago, hinting at an upcoming game where the green pigs from Angry Birds take the entire spotlight. This week, the Finnish development studio confirmed in a press release that Bad Piggies is launching in the iTunes App Store on September 27. Android gamers are getting it on the same day.
Petri Järvilehto, EVP Games at Rovio, said, “We’ve had a lot of fun creating a totally new and unique gameplay experience. There’s so much more to these pigs than what is seen in the Angry Birds games, and Bad Piggies is the first glimpse into what’s going on in the imaginative and ingenious minds of the pigs.”
